A short update on the progress of Dunallander. Roy has been busy replacing the boards for the end curves making them much lighter, more compact and easier to transport. They are now hinged and can be packed face to face. The Oban fiddle yard has been moved through 90 degrees which will simplify cassette transfer.
Work has also been carried out on the abattior board by Tony along with some tidying up and detailing of the station board. The goods yard turnouts have had CR point levers installed thanks to Jim Watt.
Prior to the 2mm Expo at Derby in May, the priorities are the laying and wiring of the track on the new end boards and changing the couplings on some of the coaches.
Below are a couple of photographs of the new end boards.
